Alexander C. Cobian grew up in the Imperial Valley, finding escape in movie theaters and long desert drives that shaped his storytelling lens. He's now a cinematographer and brand strategist based in Los Angeles.

His path took him through San Diego and Los Angeles, learning under Fredo Tovar at A-Plus Films and working in Entertainment LATAM communications before building his own practice. His cinematography has been exhibited at places like Bread & Salt and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, work that lives beyond commercial projects and into contemporary art and cultural conversation.

He's shot and directed creative for artists including Future, Jaden Smith, Zach Top and Leah Blevins, and worked with companies like BPM Music, Bantyr.io and Soundtracc. What ties it together is a habit of turning narrative into systems that actually work, making sure the visuals, the message and the way something reaches people all move in the same direction.

His work has sat inside creative circles around Grammy and Academy Award recognized talent, places where being relevant isn't enough, it has to hold up over time. He thinks of himself as both the person making the image and the one building what happens around it.

Today he's building The Film Dispatch, a platform built to guide, support and elevate underrepresented creators in an industry that often overlooks them. Alongside that, he's developing Tiny Bomb Records with longtime collaborator Patrick Bellingson, focused on artist development, ownership and releases rooted in culture.
