For first-time and emerging filmmakers.
A filmmaking program built as a community, where first-time filmmakers develop, shoot, and finish their short film in 8 weeks.
Built around cohorts. The first of six starts in May.
Limited spots available.
You don’t need another idea.
You need a way to finish your film.
Most first-time filmmakers get stuck in the same loop. They start a script, lose momentum, and never finish.
Not because they lack talent, but because they lack a clear path and structure.
That’s why this exists.
a production-driven community, built around cohorts.
Inside Film Dispatch, this is where filmmakers move from idea to finished short film in 8 weeks — inside a focused environment built for execution.
Build your film alongside other filmmakers in the first cohort, starting in May.
This is the first of six cohorts this year.
Inside, you follow a clear 8-week path:
Week 1–2
Story Development & Script Draft.
Week 3–4
Planning your film.
Week 5–6
Filming & Rough Edit.
Week 7-8
Feedback and Final Film Delivery.

But the real value isn’t just the structure. It’s the community.
You’re building your film with other filmmakers. You get feedback, guidance, and support as you go.
So you don’t get stuck and you don’t do it alone.
